On June 19, Sirail took part in the “Bravos de l’industrie” ceremony, organized by the UIMM at the Cité des Congrès.
It was an opportunity to congratulate the students from Collège Jehan Froissart in Quiévrechain, who were awarded the trophy for the best company presentation.
An Immersion in the Heart of the Industry
A few months earlier, in January, the students had been welcomed to the Sirail site to learn about the company, its operations, and the various job roles.
Following this visit, the students gave a presentation on the company, drawing on their experience. Their work was recognized with the award for Best Company Presentation.
Introducing Students to the Diversity of Careers
For Sirail, it is essential to give young people a concrete picture of the jobs and career paths the industry has to offer.
Production, maintenance, quality control, process engineering, engineering, logistics, and support functions… In short, the industry offers a wide variety of careers and a broad range of skills, all of which rely on teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and creativity.
