RER New Generation
As part of a project to manufacture and deploy the new generation of rolling stock for Paris’s public transport system (RERNG), SIRAIL is contributing to its customer’s success by being its partner in innovation, through the design and manufacture of electrical equipment designed to incorporate the electrical and electronic equipment required for the train’s proper operation.
SIRAIL has designed electrical equipment with the aim of optimizing the space available for passengers by proposing customized solutions:
- Mechanical, electrical and thermal studies
- Definition of mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams
- Space occupancy simulations
- Study and simulation of cabling routing using mock-ups
- Qualification of equipment through type testing (thermal, shock and vibration)
Medium-range radars
Medium-range radars are now at the heart of the security system for forces on operations, providing crucial surveillance of air activities in the most hostile environments.
Their designers have entrusted us with the production of all types of harnesses, from signal to power, as well as their integration into mechanical assemblies.
Sirail provides its know-how and support to ensure trouble-free operation of this equipment, and the best possible reactivity for the manufacturer. For more than 40 years, Sirail works with its customers cabling products destined to be mounted on drilling machines, and therefore exposed to the most demanding environments.
The cooperation is so fruitful that Sirail was chosen to manufacture related products, such as the cabling and the integration of control cabins of a electrolyser production line.
Considering the long-term relationship, Sirail has been able to put in place different optimisations, to reduce change implementation time, for example, or communicate in nearly-real-time the production status, giving its customer the assurance of on-time delivery, at the correct revision and sporting impeccable quality.
